Natar Kitten formula

Natar Kitten formula is a complete food for nursing kittens. It can also be used as a complementary food for pregnant or nursing cats, growing, older, weakened or recovering cats.
Natar Kitten formula is very well matched to the composition of mother's milk. And that is important, because cat's milk has special characteristics that differ greatly from the milk of other species.

Natar Kitten formula is an excellent, highly digestible food. The high biological value of its components, the perfect balance between proteins and fats, the right ratio of albumin to casein and the right vitamin and mineral supplements make Natar Kitten formula the ideal food for kittens, or as a nutritional supplement for pregnant or nursing cats, for older, weakened or recovering cats.

Instructions for use for kittens:

Mix the recommended amount of milk powder with water. Use boiled water that has been cooled to around 45 degrees. Mix it carefully and administer the milk at a temperature of 38-39 degrees.

If you do not have a thermometer available, put a little milk on the back of your hand to test the temperature. It should not feel hot or cold.

The success rate strongly depends on observing the hygiene rules. Always use clean materials and do not prepare too much milk at once. Leftover milk should be kept in the fridge and heated au bain-marie before the next feeding. Never warm the milk twice.

Should diarrhoea occur due to digestive disorders, immediately stop milk feeds for at least 24 hours and replace the milk with rice water and carrot water. For this, we recommend Natar Probiotic, a preparation based on micronised carrots and pregelatinised rice starch. Gradually return to normal milk feeds. In the most difficult cases, Natar Probiotic can be added to the artificial diet for the entire period. The balanced composition of Natar Probiotic makes it an excellent food which can also be administered for fairly long periods (10-15 days) during the growth of young animals.

Instruction for use on weaned or adult cats:

Natar Kitten milk can be given alongside normal food. Dissolve the milk powder in water, and give the milk during meals. If desired the milk powder can also be mixed with the food.
Give about 1 to 2 grams of powdered milk per kilogram of body weight per day. Milk is an excellent source of calcium, proteins and fats.

• The prepared milk should have a temperature of 38-39°C at the time of administration.
• The amount of milk in the above schedule is a guideline, because the kitten should be fed until it is full. Use the schedule to prevent cases of malnutrition in weaker animals.
• The dosage can be adjusted to individual cases by the vet.
• From the 4th or 5th week, you can start adding other foods such as finely ground meat. It may be mixed with the milk.
• It is recommended that additional probiotics be added to the milk.

Milk powder, milk protein (albumin and casein), sunflower and soya oil, egg yolk powder, vegetable protein concentrates, fish oil (source of omega 3).
