This page explains how Milk for Animals uses the data you leave on the website. We want to protect your privacy as much as possible and ensure that we comply with the laws and regulations in this area.

In short, it means that we only collect the data and cookies that are necessary to communicate with you and allow the webshop to function properly. We do not share and sell your information with other parties, and we will not send unsolicited newsletters.

What data may we collect?

• your name, so that we can address you correctly
• Address and residence, so we can deliver your order.
• Telephone number, so we can quickly contact you about your order. We will call you if something is unclear, send a what's app message or text you about the delivery. We can also call you afterwards to ask if everything went well.
• Payment details. Payments are done via Mollie, Paypal or bank transfer. Your bank details will be saved, so we can link the payment to your order. Furthermore, your bank account will only be used when you get money back from us.
• IP address, so we can remember your preferences and recognize you when you return to the webshop.
• email address: You will receive an email about your order, the invoice and the products you buy from us. We will also email you back when you email us. The newsletter will also be sent to you by e-mail, if you have given us permission to do so. At the bottom of each newsletter there is a link to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Purpose

We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this privacy policy unless we have obtained your prior consent.

Customer service	You can call, email, facebook and what's app with us. Written conversations are stored to help you in the future. Phone calls are not recorded.
Account	In your account you will find your personal data. Name, delivery and billing address, date of birth, telephone number and login details. In case of companies we also keep the VAT number. This means you don't have to enter these details every time. We also keep information about your previous orders. This way we can help you faster.
Nieuwsbrieven	We versturen alleen een nieuwsbrief als u zich daarvoor heeft aangemeld. Afmelden kan via de link onderaan de nieuwsbrief zelf.
Reviews / testimonials	On the website you can leave a review or testimonial. This can help others make a good choice of product. We save your name, your email address and the IP address of which the review or testimonial is written.
Improvement	We doen graag ons best voor u en uw dieren. Om onszelf te blijven verbeteren gebruiken we uw gegevens. Dat kan bijvoorbeeld zijn voor een klantenonderzoek of enquete. Ook wordt het klantgedrag op de website bijgehouden. Zo kunnen we zien wat er goed gaat, of wat er beter kan.
Fraud prevention	Nobody likes fraud. That's why we use customer data to investigate, prevent and counter fraud. If compelled, we will give customer data to the government.

Storage of our services

When you sign up for one of our services, we ask you to provide personal information. This data will be used to perform the service. The data is stored on Melk voor Dieren's own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this information with any other personal information we may have at our disposal.

When you send email or other messages to us, we may retain those messages. Sometimes we will ask you for your personal information relevant to the situation in question. This enables us to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on Melk voor Dieren's own secure servers or those of a third party. You can subscribe to our newsletter. You can also unsubscribe. The list of email addresses will not be resold or used for other things than sending the newsletter.

Google Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). It is very useful for us to be able to see how the website is being used. All settings are set to respect your privacy as much as possible. Google Analytics data is not shared with other Google products. We have a data processing agreement and have chosen to mask the last numbers of your IP address. Data sharing is disabled and we do not use other Google services in conjunction with Google Analytics cookies.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Third parties

In order to be able to ship your order, we need to enter your address details at PostNL. There they will also be stored in an address list. Others who may have (limited) access to your information are our accountant, our order pickers and the website administrators. We have the relevant data processing agreements in place.

Your information is not shared with other parties. In some cases the information can be shared internally between employees. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.

Duration of storage

We keep your data for up to 5 years after your last order. This is necessary because of the warranty of some products. And handy for you, so you can always keep logging in with your account.
Your email address for the newsletter will be kept for 3 years.

You have the right to inspection, rectification or deletion of personal data.

If you want to modify your data or have yourself removed from our files, you can modify it yourself in your account. You can also contact us for that. The address is at the bottom of this page.

NEWMESSAGE	Indicates whether a new message has been received.
NO_CACHE	Indicates whether it is allowed to use cache.
PERSISTENT_SHOPPING_CART	A link to information about your cart and viewing history if you have asked the site.
POLL	The ID of any polls you have recently voted in.
POLLN	Information on what polls you have voted on.
RECENTLYCOMPARED	The items that you have recently compared.
STF	Information on products you have emailed to friends.
STORE	The store view or language you have selected.
USER_ALLOWED_SAVE_COOKIE	Indicates whether a customer allowed to use cookies.
VIEWED_PRODUCT_IDS	The products that you have recently viewed.
WISHLIST	An encrypted list of products added to your Wishlist.
WISHLIST_CNT	The number of items in your Wishlist.
