FoxValley 32/40 milk powder

FoxValley 32/40 is similar in composition and use to Petag's Esbilac, but contains only vegetable fats. Esbilac is no longer available in Europe.

This milk powder from Fox Valley Animal Nutrition is the most common milk powder product. It can be used for lots of animals (such as guinea pig, squirrel and ferret), or mixed with another milk powder to get the right composition. This milk powder contains 32% protein, 40% fat and has a low lactose content of about 14%. Fox Valley is still a relatively unknown brand in Europe, but the milk is widely used in America for raising young animals. How to prepare the milk varies per animal species. Consult the information on the website. FoxValley 32/40 is also often recommended for rabbits, but we think FoxValley 30/50 is more suitable in terms of composition.

Consumption

A 450-gram bag of milk powder yields approximately 1.5 litres of liquid milk when mixed in the ratio 2:3. (Some animals require a different mixing ratio)

Ingredients:

Vegetable oil, casein, dried milk protein, dried skimmed milk, dried corn syrup solids, dicalcium carbonate, potassium chloride, dipotassium phosphate, mono and diglycerides, choline chloride, vitamin E supplement, Vitamin A supplement, Vitamin D3 supplement, Zinc Sufate, copper sulphate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Thiamine Hydrochlorine, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acids, calcium iodate, biotin, sodium selenite, natural and artificial flavours added.

Shelf life

The milk can be kept for 18 months after production if kept cool (room temperature) and dark.

The best-before date is shown on the packaging. Even after opening the packaging, it will keep until that date.

You can also store it in the freezer, in which case it will keep for much longer.
