Snuggle Pets are stuffed animals that can serve as a surrogate mother for young animals. Ideal for motherless animals. The cuddles have a real tangible beating heart and contain a warmth bag where the young can lie against. The youngster relaxes noticeably when it snuggles up to this heartbeat cuddly toy. The quiet heartbeat resembles a relaxed mother. There is no danger, mother is calm, so the cub is relaxed too.

Snuggle Pet or Snuggle Puppy soothes anxious puppies

Snuggle Puppies are ideal for young puppies. When a puppy has just moved to a new home they can miss their mother very much. The puppy cries and squeaks at night and is restless and anxious. Snuggle Kitty - heartbeat cat - for young motherless kittens

The Snuggle Kitties are recommended by the Foundation "Kittenopvang Moederloos", there they are referred to as the heartbeat cat. Young motherless kittens can benefit greatly from a Snuggle Kittie when their mother does not care for them and no other mother cat can take care of them. The beating heart calms and soothes young kittens. They love the warmth of the Snuggle Kittie. But for newborn kittens, more warmth is needed (in the form of a heat mat or similar).

Snuggle Pet also for kangaroos

Young kangaroos are very stress sensitive animals. Normally they live safely in their mother's pouch and feel their mother's warmth and heartbeat. Motherless kangaroos can benefit greatly from a Snuggle Pet. The quiet heartbeat also calms the young kangaroo. You can put a Snuggle Pet (Kittie or Puppie) in the surrogate pouch, or just the heart in the surrogate pouch.

The heat from the Snuggle Pet is not enough to keep a hairless joey warm. An additional source of heat remains necessary.

Snuggle Pet for humans

A snuggle puppy or kitty is also used for people with a mental disability. Also think of people with dementia, or young restless or anxious children. Also for them the snuggle cap has a calming effect.

You can also use the heart separately. Put the heart under the pillow, or sew the heart into the favourite doll or cuddly toy.

A real beating heart

The heart inside the cuddly toy doesn't make much noise, but you can feel it beating. The heartbeat feels almost lifelike. It will keep beating until the batteries run out (about 10-14 days).
Of course, you can also easily replace the battery. The heart uses 2 AAA batteries (included).

Cosy warmth through heat pack

With each Snuggle Kittie or Snuggle Puppie comes a heatpack heat bag. In the Snuggle Pet is a pocket with Velcro where you can put the heat pack heat bag. Your pet will love to crawl against such a warm cuddly toy.

The heat pack provides 24 hours of wonderful warmth (40-60 degrees C). If you want to use it longer, you can put the heat bag in an airtight bag and push the air out as much as possible. Without oxygen the chemical reaction stops.

You can order extra heat packs. These Aquapacks will stay warm for 40 or 72 hours.

Safe for animals

The cuddly toy does not contain any eyes or other loose parts that can be pulled off. The cuddly toy is washable (please remove the heart and heatpack first) and can be used over and over again.
The heat packs are safe. They only contain iron powder, carbon and salt.

A Snuggle Pet is about 30 cm long, 20 cm wide and about 8 cm high.
