Use of Velcro ID tags:

Velcro ID collars are ideal for young puppies and kittens. You can easily distinguish the animals that look similar. You simply put the Velcro ID straps around the neck. Keep one or two fingers between the Velcro and the neck, so that there is enough space. Check regularly how tight the collar is. Young kittens and puppies grow quickly, so you will need to adjust the strap regularly. As the kittens and puppies grow, you can change to an ID collar with a snap fastener, such as the Tiny Totz collars, or the ID puppy collar. These can also be used as collars for kittens.
