2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml, 20 ml and 50 ml.
With Luer-Loc tip.
Nipples that fit on an o-ring syringe with Luer-Loc connection:
Tip: Also order sealing caps. They are very convenient for storing portions of milk in a syringe in the fridge. You can easily warm it up again by putting the capped syringe with formula in a warm bowl of water.
Convenient syringes to easily feed young animals. You can also use them to force-feed adult animals when they are sick.
o-ring syringes run smoother than regular syringes
The syringes of the brand Codan contain an exceptionally thin silicone ring. Also called O-ring. This ring guarantees a smooth use and prevents overshooting.
Your juveniles will not choke easily. The O-ring syringes keep running smoothly, even if you use them frequently. It really makes a big difference compared to normal syringes.
Syringes available in 5 sizes: 2, 5, 10, 20 and 60 ml
The large syringes of 10ml and more, are only suitable for larger animals that suck on the teat themselves. Always start with a 1ml syringe for small animals and wait until they are accustomed to drinking from a syringe, before switching to a larger size.
The syringes are sold in sets of 5 or 10 syringes of one kind.
Most teats fit best on a Luer-Loc syringe.
Here on the left side of the picture you can see the difference between a regular syringe and a syringe with a Luer Lock connection. On the left an ordinary syringe with a slip tip. Here you can put on a teat, but this can easily come loose under pressure or by sucking.
On the right the Luer Loc tip, with a thread. Some teats we have, like the micro syringe and the cannula tip, can be screwed in.
Other nipples you can slide around the whole Luer-Loc base.
Another detail on the picture is the black rubber piston. This is not what they look like with our o-ring nipples. Our o-ring nipples have a narrow black ring, which makes the nipples run smoother.
Syringes are a cheap alternative to a bottle. And what's more, a syringe is much easier to read and keep track of how much a baby has drunk.
You can also use a syringe to fill a bottle. Any remaining milk you can suck from the bottle and then you can calculate how much the baby has drunk.
Most Wombaroo teats can be pulled over a 10ml Luer-Loc syringe. A cheap alternative to a bottle.
