o-ring syringes run smoother than regular syringes

The syringes of the brand Codan contain an exceptionally thin silicone ring. Also called O-ring. This ring guarantees a smooth use and prevents overshooting.
Your youngsters will not choke easily. The O-ring syringes keep running smoothly, even if you use them more often. It really is a big difference with normal syringes.
O-ring syringes with normal tip are available in 4 sizes: 1, 2, 5 and 10 ml.

Always start with small animals with a 1ml syringe and wait until they are well accustomed to drinking from a syringe, before switching to a larger size.
1ml syringes are also known as 'pipette' or 'premature syringe'.
The large syringes of 10ml and larger are only suitable for larger animals that suck on the teat themselves.

Nipples and feeding tubes that fit on an o-ring syringe with a regular tip:

•     Catac ST1
•     Petag and Rüsch feeding probes
•     Cannula tip (preferably use Luer-Loc)
•     Rabbit teat (only fit on a 1 and 2ml syringe)

Other nipples often fit best on a Luer-Loc syringe.

Thin o-ring syringe runs smoother

Our o-ring nipples have a narrow black ring, which makes the nipples run smoother. You have less chance to shoot through. Even after frequent use.
You can pull the syringes apart and boil them. Then they are completely clean and sterile again.

Prevent fading of the inscription

TIP: Stick adhesive tape over the inscription before use. This prevents the inscription with the graduation scale from fading.

The syringes are produced in Denmark. The ink used meets the highest safety requirements for medical products. Unfortunately, the ink does not stay on for long when used frequently. But with adhesive tape on top, you can boil the syringes many times and reuse them.

Syringe or bottle?

Syringes are a cheap alternative to bottles. And what's more, syringes are much easier to read and keep track of how much a young person has drunk.
You can also use a syringe to fill a bottle. Any remaining milk you suck from the bottle and then you can calculate how much the youngster has drunk.
